Overview & Key Strengths
The Goal Zero Nomad 20 (12004) is a rugged 20W 3-fold backcountry solar panel built to charge phones, headlamps, GPS communicators, Sherpa power banks, and small Goal Zero Yeti stations directly from the sun.
It features an integrated flip-out kickstand, Goal Zero's signature 8mm solar output lead (14–22V) plus a built-in 5V/2.1A USB-A port, and corner hang loops for strapping to a pack or tent.
Spec sheet
Estimated full-sun charge time
0–100% estimate for one panel in strong, direct sun with good angle. Clouds, haze, shade, and the station's own solar-input limit will slow this down in practice.
